Whichever you pick, the SOL or ETH spent on a fee is a disposal of that coin with its own gain or loss - the TX-Solana-Fees and TX-Ethereum-Fees tabs show every one, and the Lots column names the lot the fee came from. Ask your accountant which way to file.

Approvals and failed transactions pay a fee and move nothing. Under "Add to basis" or "Reduce proceeds" that fee is carried to the next swap or send at the wallet - the cost of getting it done. Sending coins back to your exchange: under "Add to basis" the fee joins the basis of the coins sent, and the exchange's sale of them shows it. The fee tabs' Treatment column says where every fee went.

Everything that arrived at your wallets from an address outside your exchange and wallets, grouped by the wallet that sent it, busiest first, oldest to newest. Tick a wallet or single rows, pick what they were, save. Until you say otherwise, each is a lot with the value it had when received as its basis. Income keeps that basis and goes on a 1099-MISC. I paid for it and Bridged take the basis you type (bridged coins keep the value received if you leave it blank). My own wallet adds the sender to your wallets; analyse it and the coins arrive with their real lots. Unknown uses 0.

Everything you sent to an address outside your exchange and wallets, grouped by where it went. Unless you say otherwise each is a sale at that day's value. Bridged to another chain: pick or type the chain (say, Radix). It is treated as a swap into that chain at that day's value; when coins come back, mark that receipt “Bridged from another chain” with the same name and what arrives is the proceeds. The assumption is written on the workbook's Notes tab. My own wallet: add it to your wallets so the coins keep their lots. The ✎ names an address — names are yours alone and are remembered in this browser.
